Maximov Publications released full information on local authorities of Russia For the first time Maximov Publications represents full data on all authorities in one directory “Local Authorities in Russia” (June, 2006). The reference book contains detailed information on Regional ministries, departments, directorates, committees, regional and municipal administrations departments with telephone and fax numbers, web-sites, postal addresses and e-mails. Moreover, the section “Legislative Authorities” is supplied with full lists (!) of deputies and their assistants, and everyone's responsibility areas (this information is essential nowadays because of implementing the reform of local self-government). Federal authorities' structures and all Russian regions representative offices in Moscow are represented in the same detail. Besides, the directory includes largest regional TV and Radio companies, newspapers, magazines and PR agencies, local departments of political parties. Such varied and detailed information makes the directory a unique tool for daily work of a state official and a businessman of any rank. The book is supplied with convenient search systems, ad all the data will be represented both in Russian and in English. The project head Svetlana Surkova notes, “During 10 years of work we've accumulated a great amount of information on state authorities in regions. It's represented in parts in our multiple political directories, such as “State Duma of the Russian Federation”, “The Russian Government”, “Parties & Organizations in Russia” and, of course, “Who Governs the Russian Federation”.
